I am so, so excited to finally share these images from a recent styled wedding shoot I was very fortunate to be a part of. When Jenn Eddine (of Jenn Eddine Photography) approached me about being her stylist for a wedding shoot she was planning, I knew it was an opportunity I just couldn't pass up. Jenn chose the absolutely gorgeous Soho South Cafe to serve as the background for her shoot. Loads of greenery, various gold geometric props and details, and an on-trend color palette of eucalyptus green, amethyst, ivory and gold set the moody yet romantic tone.
Jenn assembled a truly amazing team to make this incredible vision come to life. After reading the post below, be sure to check out the full Vendor List at the end to see all the amazing people and companies who were a part of this shoot!
Alexandra Forby was not only our beautiful bride for the shoot, but she is also the genius and talent behind the local handwoven goods of Daughter Handwovens. She made all of the napkins (sold as tea towels on her website) for all of our place settings. I just love the warm touch they add to this tablescape!
We used the large garage door located in the back of the restaurant to stage our intimate table setting. Beautiful, lush greenery, drippy candlesticks, rock candy in champagne flutes, and a playful geometric garland created the romantic yet modern vibe.
Alexandra wore two different gowns throughout the shoot (both supplied by local bridal boutique, Ivory & Beau.) This first look was a more ethereal, boho dress with a cold shoulder detail and romantic lacy sleeves. Her hair (created by Wildflower Gypsy) was left down and styled with the most gorgeous blooms. Her second gown, which you'll see later in the post, was more traditional with a sweetheart neckline, long, flowy train, and was styled with her hair pulled up. Alexandra's stunning bouquet was also supplied by Ivory & Beau.
The AMAZING cake and cookies were crafted by The Topiary, while the floral styling on and around the cake was done by yours truly. The edible, geometric, gold leaf details on the bottom of the cake itself and flower-filled terrarium topper perfectly complimented the rest of the details of the shoot. And can we just talk about those hexagon shaped cookies for a second? SO good!
I just love how the romance and drama of Alexandra's dress pop against this moody teal wall in this last shot. Thanks so much for reading along! Don't forget to check out all the amazing vendors below!
